Some of our staff and board members are headed to SXSW Interactive in Austin this week. We’re proud that they’ll be speaking on panels at the fest. If you’re also there, stop by these panels to meet the DIY Girls team! 

Friday, March 13th 3:30pm

Sylvia from our team will be representing us on this panel focused on how Latina moms can encourage their kids to be interested in creating with technology.

Sunday, March 15th 3:30pm

(Austin Convention Center Room 12AB)

Our Board Chair, Megan Westerby (VP of Marketing, SideChef) will be on a panel titled “YouTube Grows Up” that will explore the variety of paths new content creators can and are taking to building their communities and creativity.

Monday, March 16th 9:30am

(Austin Convention Center Ballroom F)

Board member, Liliana Monge (Co-Founder, Sabio), will be leading a discussion on Latino Opportunities with Technology. The presentation will specifically focus on new opportunities Sabio sees for Latino and female talent in the decade ahead.
