For over 13 years, DIY Girls has helped girls and gender-expansive youth build skills and confidence in STEM, and every year, 100% of our Invent Girls seniors go on to college. But for 72% of our students, they are the first in their families to navigate higher education, often without a roadmap or built-in support system. We’ve learned that graduation isn’t the finish line; it’s the moment everything gets harder.
That’s why we continue to grow GANAS (Girls Action Network and Support), our alumni leadership and support network designed to help students persist and thrive beyond high school. Today, GANAS supports 93 alumni, with 54% pursuing or having earned a STEM degree, 75% of those students persisting in STEM, and 66% of graduates earning STEM degrees. These outcomes happen because our students don’t have to do it alone. Our students’ success doesn’t end at graduation—and neither does our commitment to them.
KEEP THE MOMENTUM GOING
Thank you to everyone who participated in our campaign! If you’d still like to make a gift, we gratefully welcome donations year-round. Every contribution helps students and alumni access mentorship, leadership opportunities, and the support they need to persist and succeed in STEM.

Where are they now?
