This includes but is not limited to students who identify as girls regardless of assigned sex at birth, transmasculine youth, non-binary youth, and gender-fluid individuals. Click here
This Women’s History Month, celebrate changemakers and join our DIT Community to empower the next generation of STEM leaders–You can make a lasting impact!
This March, your gift is amplified! An anonymous supporter will donate $100 extra for every new monthly donor—up to 50 new members! A monthly donation is more than a gift—it’s a powerful investment in our future. Your commitment enables thousands of youth to break barriers in STEM, building a future filled with confidence, skills, and opportunity.
Meet Beatriz: A Future Engineer
Beatriz joined DIY Girls in 5th grade, discovering a passion for STEM. Now, as an 11th grader in our Invent Girls high school program, she’s preparing for a career in mechanical or electrical engineering—a path she may have never considered without early mentorship.
“Being a part of DIY Girls has been life-changing. I joined in 5th grade, and it introduced me to engineering and coding. Now, as I think about my future, I’m excited to pursue mechanical or electrical engineering. DIY Girls has also connected me to other programs that have expanded my knowledge and opportunities.” — Beatriz, 11th Grade, Invent Girls Program
“The most important thing I learned in this program was that we all need each other. A world without boys wouldn’t work out. Neither without girls. I learned that we all have a reason to be here no matter what others say. We need male and female. We are all equally important to this world. One thing I am proud of is finishing this program. Making it all the way and learning while having fun. Someday I know I will make this world better just cause of this program. Thank you DIY Girls.”
