DIY Girls’ Summer STEM Camp is a free, hands-on program hosted at Los Angeles Mission College that welcomes girls and gender-expansive youth entering 6th, 7th, or 8th grade from schools across the community. By learning on a college campus, students gain early exposure to higher education while building confidence to envision themselves pursuing college and STEM careers. Through engaging, project-based activities, campers explore 3D modeling, coding fundamentals, creative problem-solving, and sustainability while developing technical skills, creativity, and collaboration.

Who Can Participate?

Our Summer STEM Camp is FREE and open to girls and gender-expansive youth entering 6th, 7th, or 8th grade.

What You’ll Learn

DIY Girls has transitioned our former Elementary and Middle School programs into an expanded Summer STEM Camp, allowing more students to experience hands-on STEM learning on a college campus.
